My fellow Channel Development Manager, Gabi Morales, and I spent a few days last month in lovely St Petersburg, FL attending the ITA (Information Technology Alliance) Spring Collaborative. If you’re not familiar with ITA, it’s an independent organization that holds two events a year and draws attendees from the top CPA firms, VARs, ISVs, and ERP publishers. As much as we enjoy hanging out together when we’re both in the same city, we both had a lot going on, and each of us had our own unique conference experience at the Spring Collaborative. We sat down together to review our thoughts.
Last week, Don Martin and I represented Website Pipeline at the 90 Minds 6th Annual “Meeting of the Minds” at the Hilton San Diego Resort. 90 Minds is a group of independent ERP consultants located across North America. Unlike many of the events we attend, customers do not participate in the MOTM. But if you’re an ERP user, and your ERP consultant was there, rest assured they left armed with lots of new tips on how to help you get the most out of your software!
This was my third MOTM and even though they've been awesome in the past, I can honestly say this was the best one yet.
This week’s travels found me in Milwaukee, Wisconsin attending the Vrakas/Blum Computer Consulting 2016 Sage 100 User Group Conference. If you don’t read any more of this post, just know this – this group knows how to host a conference!
The night before the event, Vrakas/Blum hosted all of the vendors and the Sage representatives for a private dinner. It was fun to spend some time getting to know the team on a personal level.
At Website Pipeline, we’re big on building relationships with our partners, and sometimes when there are customers around at these events, it’s hard for us to find time to spend together. Having this time set aside for us really set the tone for the Vrakas/Blum event, with their team treating us as valued guests throughout our stay. Many of us had to travel across the country to be there, and they really rolled out the red carpet for us in appreciation.
By this point you probably know that Website Pipeline rarely passes up an opportunity to learn and maybe, just maybe, have a little fun with our partners and customers.
If you follow our blog, you’ve no doubt seen our recaps of the various events we attend around the country in the ERP community. We share what we learned, what we shared, and of course, pictures of who we shared it with. There’s often pointing involved.
But this one is a little different.

Don Martin and I are just back from the ITA Spring Collaborative at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Houston, TX, and we are already looking at ways to apply some of the best practices we learned from our fellow members.
Eric Alexander and I recently represented Website Pipeline at the 90 Minds 5th Annual “Meeting of the Minds” in San Diego.
Rob McKay and I had the pleasure of representing Website Pipeline at the ITA Fall Collaborative this past week at the beautiful Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale, AZ. Hey, it’s a tough job, but somebody has to do it!
This was my fourth year in a row attending, and it was bigger than ever with over 4,100 attendees.
