Website Pipeline Hires 19, Mid-Year Revenue up 80% over 2013
GREENVILLE, SC – Website Pipeline Inc., the market leader for e-commerce enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions, today offered a mid-year summary of its operating performance and financial results. Most notably, the privately held company has hired 19 full-time employees, positioning the company for further advancement in the second half of 2014 and beyond.
Website Pipeline has averaged more than 20% growth year-over-year for the past four years. Year-to-date revenues are up 80% over 2013’s record year, according to CEO Brian Seidel. With its recent growth, Website Pipeline now employs more than 50 employees.
“Our recent achievements reflect our disciplined strategy to focus on the wholesale distribution and manufacturing markets,” Seidel said. “These businesses are starting to view e-commerce technology as a productivity tool and are rethinking the value of data collection. Our mission is to make that technology affordable for mid-market companies.”
Website Pipeline designs, builds, hosts and supports e-commerce website that integrate with a clients’ ERP software. The company’s e-commerce solution allows customers anytime, anywhere access to product information, pricing, inventory, order history and tracking, payment collection and returns. Fully customizable, businesses can communicate with individual buyers across multiple languages, currencies and pre-negotiated price points.
Product knowledge is an essential sales requirement and can be attributed to the fast growth at Website Pipeline. Its entire sales team has had some level of software development expertise. Meanwhile, the company’s software developers are using Agile development methods to improve the quality of products and services.
Also key to the company’s success is sticking to what drives the economic engine, Seidel said. It’s an understanding of knowing what Website Pipeline is best at and not going after what doesn’t fit.
“Stability is in diversity of revenue and no tail wagging the dog,” he explained. “Our largest customer last year made up less than 3 percent of our total revenue.”
Website Pipeline has been featured on the Inc 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in the country for four consecutive years. In 2013, the company was listed at No. 39 among the top 100 South Carolina companies to make the list.
In December, Website Pipeline will celebrate 15years in business. It will also reveal the completion of a 5,500-square-foot expansion on the second floor of its Greenville, S.C., headquarters, located in the Allendale Building at Park Central Office Park.
All but one employee works at the Greenville office.
