This past Tuesday morning, 4 members of the Website Pipeline team took a road trip to Greensboro, NC to take part in a customer-centric conference hosted by our friends at SWK Technologies.
SWK Technologies, one of the largest Sage ERP re-sellers in North America, also provides information technology consulting services to help businesses connect all the pieces into a single integrated solution. Components of a seamless technology strategy include manufacturing, inventory, sales, purchasing, and HR/payroll. At the Empower Customer Conference, SWK brought together more than 60 customers to discuss topics such as new user interfaces for Sage 2016, best practices for reporting, and some in-depth exploration of software integrations for Sage that can help with common inefficiencies.
The event started out with 18 holes of golf at the beautiful Grandover Resort, where the Website Pipeline team held their own on the course, and enjoyed the day out in the sunshine.
The next day, bright and early (ish), Don Martin presented on the 6 "flavors" of Website Pipeline and our B2B e-commerce solutions that integrate with Sage 100. We received excellent audience participation (thanks to a new technique of Don's involving gift cards), and were able to discuss specific solutions with several of the attendees after the presentation.
Alongside Website Pipeline, several other ISVs attended and presented on topics ranging from expense reports to tax automation software.
Our friends from Scanco demonstrated their newest offering, ONE for Sage 100 (a comprehensive warehouse management and manufacturing automation solution).
Avalara spoke about the importance of knowing your tax requirements, and fielded questions about how to make sales tax easier, Altec laid out a roadmap on how to take your business paperless with their document management software, doc-link, and V-technologies discussed strategies for getting the most out of shipping software.
In addition to introducing their customers to software solutions that can make their lives easier, SWK also educated the attendees on new features of Sage100 2016, and armed them with lots of new tips and tricks for getting the most out of their ERP.
All in all, the event was a huge success, and a great opportunity for Website Pipeline to spread the word about what we do and how we can help companies do business better, faster, and cheaper. We look forward to working with all those that we met, and continuing to strengthen our relationship with our partners.
